I arrived at the field at around 8 am Thursday. The warm temperatures and rain over the previous two days had caused nearly all of the snow to melt away. The runway was completely bare. Winds were light and the skies were mostly cloudy but visibility was good. I brought two models with me and plenty of batteries. After a while the temperature warmed up a bit and I didn't even need to wear gloves. I finished up just after 10 am.

What a pleasant treat for early February!
