Today I had the good fortune of having my day off from work line up with one of the only good weather days in the last couple of weeks. I planned on flying just in the morning but I ended up coming back in the afternoon as well. When I arrived at the field at sunrise I found the winds to be even lighter than were forecast (almost non-existent). The temperature was just below freezing. I switched between flying my Ultimate 2 and my Timber X for about 1.5 hours.
Seeing the winds still light after lunch, I made another journey out to the field. This time I brought two micro (UMX) models: my Eachine 180 heli and my new(ish) UMX A-10 Warthog EDF jet. The afternoon was very pleasant with light winds and temperatures around 5 degrees. I finished my batteries with enough time to do some pruning around the field and driveway before the sunset.

I am writing to inquire if you think there is any possibility of seeing this club revive? I am recently retired and am a new entrant to this hobby. I am more than willing to pitch in with field maintenance or other issues if needed. I contacted Don Menchions this time 2 years ago and things weren't looking too good as far as membership numbers were concerned. Please let me know if you think anything may be happening here, I'd be glad to join in,
